The #DF15 Thursday Roundup: Pardot Edition

Last night, Pardot hosted our Shaken Not Stirred: License to Sell party that had party-goers lined up around the block. With Thomas Middleditch,  Kumail Nanjiani, and Martin Starr of HBO’s Silicon Valley among the guest list, the party quickly hit capacity as guests enjoyed free premium drinks and music mixed by one of the city’s hottest DJs. Stock Photo Extravaganza

The Pardot party may have gone until the wee hours of the morning, but we were ready bright and early for another great day at Dreamforce. Today was the last day to check out the B2B Marketers Cafe at the Grove, and Dreamforce attendees filed in to grab seats for breakfast, lunch, and sessions presented on email marketing, b2b marketing trends, and more. Our stock photo booth also saw a lot of action — check out some of today’s favorites below!

The Young and The Leadless: A Sales and Marketing Soap Opera

Today’s big event was our keynote presentation, where Pardot GM Adam Blitzer took the stage to discuss the current state of B2B marketing and sales. Adam was joined by Pardot’s VP of Marketing, Shannon Duffy, and VP of Sales, Ryan Barretto, to introduce Engagement Studio and Salesforce Engage — but the real surprise of the session was a guest appearance by comedians Stephen Kearin and Jo McGinley, who brought the house down with their hilarious take on sales and marketing alignment. Throughout the session, the two actors played out a sales and marketing soap opera, called “The Young & The Leadless.”

The session closed out with a Q&A with Alan English, Senior Brand Manager at Stanley Black & Decker, who spoke about his experience using marketing automation to better reach their end users.
