New faster tracking code: asynchronous and served by a CDN

We have made a few changes to our tracking code to make it load even faster.

  1. The javascript file is now served up by a content delivery network (CDN), making it load faster for everyone, but especially for visitors outside of the U.S. (since the file can be loaded from local access points).
  2. The tracking code is now loaded asynchronously (allowing the browser to render the page while the tracking code loads in the background), meaning that it should not have any impact on page loading speeds. Google Analytics has a similar option and we liked it so much we have followed suit.

If for some reason you would still like to use our older tracking code, you can access by clicking View legacy tracking code.
