Dreaming of Dreamforce

Every year a big group of Pardot team members have the pleasure of attending “the cloud computing event of the year”: Dreamforce, salesforce.com’s annual tradeshow. Well, it’s that time again, and we’re all looking forward to spending next week in fabulous-but-foggy San Francisco for Dreamforce 2010. Last year’s Dreamforce featured big names like Colin Powell and the Black Crowes, and it drew nearly 20,000 participants. The whole thing is rumored to have cost around $10 million to put on, and it was definitely money well spent!

Tradeshow season can be a hectic time of year, but I actually really enjoy the whirlwind of speakers, presentations, networking, and events. Because they host participants from far and wide, tradeshows always present a great opportunity to meet face-to-face with key people you’ve been meaning to introduce yourself to or old friends you’ve been wanting to catch up with. We’re really looking forward to interacting with our customers, partners, and colleagues — and making lots of new friends while we’re at it. Hope to see you there!
