Conditional Form Fields

Conditional form fields allow you to display a specific form field based on other fields already being complete. This allows you too slowly build a prospect's profile over time, rather than risk intimidating new prospects with lengthy forms. As a prospect returns to your site, you ask for a few additional pieces of data in order to gain access to a new area or item of value (white paper, video, etc).

Here is an example of how your profiling strategy might function:

Your first forms could show first name, last name, company, and email. To encourage prospects to continue engaging with your site, the thank you page should provide links to additional resources.

Then on the second form, if first name was previously completed, the prospect will be asked for job title field instead. If job title was already completed, it will show a number of company employees field. If number of employees was completed, show a drop down of industries to choose from field.

The process can be customized to ask for the fields that are most important to your business type.
