Pardot Named Atlanta’s Fastest Growing Technology Company at the 2010 Atlanta Business Chronicle Pacesetter Awards
Pardot tops technology category, ranks third overall out of the top 50 Atlanta companies.
April 27, 2010 — Pardot Marketing Automation, an Atlanta-based software company, was honored for outstanding growth at the 2010 Atlanta Business Chronicle Pacesetter Awards. Pardot earned the distinction of the #1 fastest growing technology company in the metro area, and ranked third overall out of the top 50 fastest-growing local companies.
Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Pacesetter Awards recognize promising privately-held companies headquartered in the Atlanta metro that have experienced the fastest growth in the preceding three year period. The Atlanta Business Chronicle ranks businesses using a growth index formula that incorporates weighted variables such as total revenue ($1 million-$300 million), revenue growth rate over time, and number of employees. The top 50 companies were announced at an awards ceremony hosted by the Atlanta Business Chronicle on Friday, April 23, 2010.
“Pardot helps marketers and sales teams do more with less,” said David Cummings, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Pardot. “In our current economic climate, budgets are tight and expectations are heightened. Our solution provides a cost-effective way to maximize lead generation and sales efficiency while monitoring ROI, so it really comes as no surprise that we’ve grown as fast as we have. The rate of growth has exceeded even our most optimistic projections, which is truly humbling in this tough economy. What came as the real surprise, though, was learning how high we actually rank in the Atlanta business community,” Cummings said. Pardot came in at #3 out of the 50 fastest growing Atlanta companies.

“We tripled our revenue from 2008 to 2009,” said Adam Blitzer, Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Pardot. “And we’ve already signed over 70 new clients so far this year. We knew by our own count that we were experiencing record growth, but we never expected to win the distinction of fastest growing technology company in Atlanta. It’s great news, and we hope to keep the accolades rolling in,” Blitzer said. Pardot, which reached profitability in early 2010, grew organically and has never taken on outside funding. Leaders in their industry, Pardot was recently ranked as lowest total cost of ownership in lead management automation by top analyst firm Forrester Research in the September 2009 report B2B Lead Management Automation Market Overview.
