Paid Search Report
This page gives statistical information about paid search for a given campaign. The data includes clicks, cost, conversions, revenue, and several other stats. To get to this page click Reports then click on one of the campaigns in the Campaign Report Summary table. Then click Paid Search in the sub-navigation.
- The number of conversions is the number of times that a visitor successfully filled out the form and therefore "converted".
- Clicks occur when a visitor performs a query on a search engine and comes to your landing page by clicking on your paid search advertisement.
- The Cost represents the total cost of the ads. Usually, the cost is the number of clicks multiplied by the CPC for that specific keyword.
- CPC (Cost-per-click) is how much the search engine company charges you every time a visitor clicks on your ad.
- An Opportunity occurs when a visitor converts and is then reviewed by a marketers or salesperson. The prospect can then be marked as an opportunity in a CRM system. This information is reported back to Prospect Insight.
- CPO (Cost-per-opportunity) is how much it costs your company to acquire a new opportunity.
- Revenue is the total sales that was derived from your paid search ads.
- ROI (Return on Investment) is the amount of revenue that is derived from every dollar you spent on your paid search campaign.
