Drip Programs
Drip Programs are also located in the Automations section. Drip Marketing allows correspondence to be sent to the prospects on a specific list at specific intervals: x days since creation, x days since last touched by the campaign, x days since last active, x days since added to list, and x days since created.
Creating A Drip Program
- Click the hyperlink entitled Create New Drip Program.
- Name - Provide a description of the Drip Program, for internal use only.
- Filter by Campaign – Displays a list of all available campaigns
NOTE – Do not select a campaign if the drip program is expected to work across multiple campaigns (e.g., Monthly Newsletter). - Filter by List – Identifies the list containing the names of recipients for this drip program.
- Drip Program Actions – Add or Remove Actions by pressing [+]. Below is a description of the actions available and variations of those actions.
- Create drip program - Will save the Drip Program.

Notes:
- The actions in Drip Programs are not sequential or in any way based on the order you enter them. Each action is carried out as soon as the specified condition is met.
- Drip Programs do not run for conditions that occurred in the past. For example, if you set up a new drip program whose condition is that an email should be sent to Prospects who were created two days ago, this will not affect anyone created more than two days ago. It will start to take effect going forward. This is different from Automation Rules, which are run retroactively.
