Twitter Gets a Facelift

Following peers like Facebook and Google+, Twitter unveiled a new look for Twitter profiles this week which features a prominent cover image. The cover photo is very reminiscent of Twitter’s social competitors and adds an additional opportunity for brands to create a social identity. As part of the same update, twitter bios are now overlayed on top of a user’s cover photo, and background images can now be centered. Dreamforce Shows Social Future

This week, salesforce.com held their annual Dreamforce conference in San Francisco. In addition to the Red Hot Chili Pepper’s performance and several notable speakers, CEO Marc Benioff spoke to the 70,000+ in attendance for nearly 3 hours, addressing pressing questions and concerns.
