Pardot's Favorite Marketing Blogs

Even though things stay pretty busy here at Pardot, we all like to take some time to unwind by doing one of our favorite things: reading. When we’re not rolling out new features, providing customer support, and creating new content, we try to stay up on the industry by perusing some of our favorite blogs.

That’s why we’re releasing a new series of posts to point out a few blogs that we really like. Let’s start with some of our favorite blogs that put out great, insightful content on the marketing industry. These blogs devote more time to broad discussions of marketing than any single topic.

Buffer

Buffer

Buffer’s blog covers topics like productivity, life hacks, writing, user experience, customer happiness, and business. While the blog may not get a ton of traffic yet, Buffer puts out an informative, engaging article about once a week.

Spotlight posts include “How much sleep do we really need to work productively?” and “Why creativity blocks happen and 4 ways you can overcome them.”

Marketing Pilgrim

Marketing Pilgrim

If you’re interested in online marketing strategy and insight, Marketing Pilgrim is a great resource. The blog includes content related to social media, advertising, industry trends, and technology– published on a daily basis.

Living in a Multi-Screen World” and “Don’t Think Apple Is Trying to Shift the Search Landscape? Think Again” are a few of the recent posts featured on the Marketing Pilgrim blog.

KISSmetrics

Kissmetrics

The KISSmetrics blog is a great place to spend some time if you’re looking for a plethora of marketing content. They publish an average of five days per week and cover topics like landing pages, email marketing, analytics, content marketing, lead generation, search, and social media.

Check out the exciting “6 Copywriting Mistakes That Shatter Conversion Rates” if you have a few extra minutes between tasks.

Marketing Sherpa

Marketing Sherpa

Another great, informative blog is run by Marketing Sherpa, a research firm that specializes in tracking what works and what doesn’t when it comes to the marketing world. Take a look at their blog if you have any interest in marketing topics like social media, lead nurturing, analytics, email marketing, content, and general marketing career advice.

If you’d like to check it out, “B2B Social Media Marketing: 5 career killers and how to overcome them” might be a good place to start.

Tune in next week to see Pardot’s favorite blogs by industry thought leaders! In the meantime, go get your blog on.

  1. Thanks for the shout out Jenna!

Would love to hear some of the subjects you find most important to your work when you are looking for Internet and social media marketing news.

    Thanks again!

    • Thanks for the comment, Frank! Most of the content that Marketing Pilgrim puts out is really helpful to us. We specifically try to keep up with any of your posts on certain social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+, and how these outlets are affected by industry trends.

      Keep up the good work!

  2. You guys rock! Thanks for sharing these blogs. Are you planning on doing a ‘keeping up with the pardotashians’ segment at Elevate again this year?
