Concept

The Paid Search module (under Marketing > Search Marketing > Paid Search) displays your Google AdWords campaigns, ad groups, and ads, which are pulled into the app through the Google AdWords Connector. You can also view reports on your paid search campaigns by going to Reports > Paid Search.

When you navigate to Paid Search from Marketing > Search Marketing > Paid Search, you will first see the Paid Search Campaigns table.

Paid Search Report

View options: Change the view dropdown to filter the table by All Campaigns, Active Campaigns, Paused Campaigns, or Deleted Campaigns.

Ad Groups: The number of ad groups within the AdWords campaign.

Ads: The number of ads within the AdWords campaign

Clicking on a specific Paid Search Campaign will take you to the Paid Search Ad Groups table.

Ad Campaigns

View options: Change the view dropdown to filter the table by All Groups, Active Groups, Paused Groups, and Deleted Groups.

Ads: The number of ads within the AdWords ad group.

The default is “Google Adwords”.  Note: You can also change the default campaign for all prospects coming through AdWords by taking the steps outlined in our Google AdWords Connector article.

Clicking on a specific Paid Search Ad Group will take you to the Paid Search Ads table.

View options: Change the view dropdown to filter the table by All Ads, Active Ads, Paused Ads, and Deleted Ads.

Status: Whether the ad is enabled or disabled.

 

Reporting

Reporting data on your AdWords campaigns is available under Reporting > Paid Search. More information is available in our Paid Search Report article.

Notes: The default prospect campaign is “Google Adwords”, which is automatically created once the connector has been set up and verified. You can also change the default campaign for all prospects coming through AdWords by taking the steps outlined in our Google AdWords Connector article.
