Best practice for sending forms via email is to send prospects a link to the form. Pardot does not support embedding forms directly into emails for the following reasons:
- It could look bad: there’s no guarantee that your form will display correctly in the recipient’s inbox.
- It may not work: if the form does display correctly, it still might not be functional.
- It may scare your recipients: depending on the email client your recipient is using, it could trigger a ‘scam alert’, or a pop-up warning about submitting data to an external page. Email clients tend to be suspicious of emails containing forms, and this could hurt your engagement.
