title="Wistia" href="http://www.wistia.com" target="_blank">Wistia. They make it incredibly easy to upload, embed, and track videos on your website and are constantly innovating in the video space. What’s even better is that you can get started with them for free while you decide on your video strategy.

If you want to track video views and tie them back to prospects, take a look at what they have to offer. Once you have an account opened up and some videos embedded on your site, simply create a Connector in Pardot to start seeing tracking data.

Video Activity Tracking and Heat Maps

Pardot records two types of video activities:

Video plays: this is recorded when a visitor or prospect clicks the play button on an embedded video

Viewing more than 75% of a video: Pardot also records when someone watched at least 3/4 of a video as it shows significant engagement

Scoring Options

Pardot’s default scores for video plays and for watching over 75% of a video are 10 points and 25 points respectively. As with any other default scores, you can adjust these values under Administration –> Automation Settings –> Scoring Rules.

Wistia Turnstiles – forms within the embedded video player).

<img

Instead we show the percentage viewed right in line with the view activity.

<img

We’ll answer the three most common questions we’ve received so far.

OK, let’s get this out of the way: Is this going to cost me?

Yes, there is additional cost associated with a professional services engagement. Our timing and pricing estimates are created specifically for each client and our goal is to be as efficient and cost effective as possible in producing exceptional solutions for our clients.

Why is Pardot’s Professional Services team a good idea?

Time and/or bandwidth are huge issues for our clients. In leveraging Pardot’s Professional Services team, clients are able to utilize Pardot resources to expertly and efficiently achieve their business goals.

Additionally, by introducing a Professional Services team, we’re allowing for greater specialization and service within our organization as a whole. We’re able to respond faster to custom requests, allowing our Services, Solutions and Implementation team members to focus on their core competencies.

What if we don’t want to use Pardot’s Professional Services Team?

That’s fine! We simply want to provide another great option for our clients. If clients have an internal team or partner agency with which they’re comfortable working, that’s fine too. We’ll also continue to promote and refer business to our stellar partners as well.

Our mission is simple: to be there if and when clients need us.

In the meantime, we’ll be working on other services offerings meant to give our clients the best experience possible, while also providing the same levels of professionalism and courtesy you’ve come to expect from Pardot.
<div

You can now drag over multiple files at once and drop them on the “drop zone” area to upload them simultaneously. If any of the files are images, Pardot will display thumbnails once the upload completes. You will also get quick access to an edit link, the URL, and short URL for each file.

As someone who once uploaded 300 files one-by-one, I can say that I am really excited about this feature.

<a

If you want to assign tags or a vanity urls to each file, use the traditional “Add file” button above the datatable or edit the files after uploading them.

IE9 and below cannot select multiple files at once due to limitations with Internet Explorer (rumor is that IE10 will allow this). The bulk uploader still works, but only 1 file at a time can be selected.

Note that there is no need to zip files (in fact uploading a zip file will keep the file stored as a zip rather than unpack them). Simply drag and drop normal, unzipped files.

Field-level validation for imports

New Features
<guid
